SHOW UNCLE SAM SOME LOVE. AGAIN. RIDE ELECTRIC TODAY.

Up to $2,500 in Federal Tax Incentives.
Plus $1,500 more, if you live in California.

Great news for electric motorcycle fans. The Federal Plug-In Electric Vehicle Credit Program continues through 2021 and it is very likely that it will be extended for all of 2022.As before, all new Energica models are eligible for a 10% Federal Tax Credit up to $2,500 in value. The valuation of the Credit is based on the total Bill of Sale, including options and accessories.

State incentives also exist, including a new EV subsidy in California called the Clean Fuel Reward Program that now adds up to $750 in direct incentives to the existing $750 tax credit for a total of $1,500. Note that the Clean Fuel Reward Program originally offered a $1,500 direct incentive but as of November 1, this is now $750.

Also on the books is a Federal Tax Credit 30% subsidy for installation of EV home-charging units. It includes portable EV charging units that could also be utilized for track days or events.

See below for more details and key links, or call your local Energica dealer. Remember all these incentives are for new, unregistered motorcycles. All government programs are subject to change without notice and have specific requirements. Do your research!

EVEN MORE REASON TO CELEBRATE THAN EVER BEFORE.

The California Clean Fuel Reward provides a rebate direct from the dealer for $750 for 21.5 kWh Energica models and $641.69 for 13.4 kWh Energica models: www.cleanfuelreward.com.

The California Center for Sustainable Energy (CSE) $750 state tax rebate also continues: https://cleanvehiclerebate.org/eng/eligible-vehicles

Two other states have their own ZEM tax rebates:

Oregon – $750

Pennsylvania – $1,000

Several California communities also have individual tax rebate programs, as follows:

Monterey Bay Area – $200

San Joaquin Valley – $1,000

TRACK FANATIC? UNCLE SAM HAS YOUR BACK.

New Federal Program supports home chargers, including portable chargers suitable for track side use.

The Federal Alternative Fuel Vehicle Refueling Property Credit rewards you for installing a home electric vehicle charger. 30% of the cost is covered, up to $1,000.

This includes any additional electrical work required to your existing building or garage, or purchase of an Electric Vehicle Service Equipment (EVSE) charging unit as provided by numerous companies. Remember that you’ll need a J1772 or CCS plug-in to be compatible with Energica motorcycles.

Charging units portable enough for track side use are also eligible. These allow you to convert the typical Level 2 240V AC current at any track garage to DC power, for much faster charging than any other electric motorcycle – translating to more sessions during the day and more time on the track.
